When will I be charged?

Billing is metered monthly for paid plans. You are charged at the end of each billing cycle based on the number of devices that were active during that month. Your first invoice will reflect only the devices you actually used.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Cancel from your account portal at any time — no questions asked, no cancellation fees. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period, and you will not be charged again after that.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, every plan includes a 14-day free trial with full access. No credit card required. Try any plan risk-free and upgrade when you're ready.

What counts as a "device"?

A device is any Windows endpoint running the PortGuard Agent that has checked in at least once during the billing period. Devices that are decommissioned (removed from your console) before the period ends are not counted.

Are there volume discounts?

All paid plans include a 10% discount when billed annually. Enterprise customers managing thousands of endpoints can contact us for a custom quote tailored to their scale.

Can I switch plans mid-cycle?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated for the remainder of the billing period. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. You can change plans at any time from the billing section of your console.
